Storsezandetsky bridge. Road to Nowhere


It may seem that this is the result of a successful experiment in Photoshop, or a springboard to launch the spacecraft in the sky. In fact, it actually existing bridge on one of the most popular tourist road in Norway - Atlantic Road. Storsezandetsky bridge makes a strong bend because of the special landscape of the local area. Approach to the bridge looks scary, it seems as if immediately after the rise to be a big break. But this is not so, the bridge is very comfortable and convenient.


Atlantic Road connects the mainland with an island in Norway Avery. Storsezandet is one of eight bridges in this direction, the longest and most impressive. The total project Atlantic Road and bridge length of 260 meters are the winners of the prestigious "Norwegian construction of the Century".
