Postcard as a way of insurance - from NASA.

When NASA was preparing a lunar mission to be launched, no insurance company will not come from life insurance astronauts, because the risks were too great. In order to compensate the families of the astronauts in case of cost possible death of the latter, NASA issued special cards on which were painted crew members just before the departure. If one of the astronauts died, their families would be able to sell the cards to collectors at a good price, but all the moon missions of the Apollo 11 and Apollo 16 in the end there were no casualties.
