Educator Alexei Semenov solved this original way - by finding a large supply of stock of colorful labels for wine bottles, he appointed them money. Labels of Madeira have a face value of the ruble, from Cahors - 10 rubles, from Oporto - 25 rubles. Every inscription on a label applied manually Semenov, assuring his painting and printing. Since 90% of the population of Yakutia were illiterate, such bills have been quite appropriate tool for the calculation. After the establishment of Soviet power in the republic in 1922, all wine money had been repaid.
