The coffin with a bell

Several centuries ago, medicine was not sufficiently accurate method for recording deaths, and are in a lethargic sleep or unconscious people often buried alive. For this reason, in the late 18th century in Europe has become popular to bury their dead in coffins so-called safe. In the simplest case, the construction of such grave included farmed out breathing tube and bell cord on which was mounted on the arm was buried. Today, safety coffins are used much less often, because death is recorded accurately almost always.
